Troy is a legendary adventurer of yore. His stories are considered absurd to the extreme, and he was known far and wide as a supreme spinner of tall tales. However, he was also greatly beloved, and his works were left behind to future generations in the form of faerie tales. His adventures were also the basis for stories of the frozen city.
——Troy the Adventurer
The young boy Troy longed for the sword that hung in his father's study. One day, he would take that sword and go adventuring. It was unthinkable to him that it was in fact just a small knife! ——"To the End of the Sea," Prologue
The adventurer Troy was mistaken for a pirate and taken prisoner. To prove his innocence to his captors, he used an azure staff to change the tides and save their fleet from danger. ——"To the End of the Sea," Chapter 3, Verse 5
On the adventurer Troy's final voyage, it is said that he encountered the Creator of the Earth, and along with a wand, inherited its power. Troy then vanished, but some whisper that he still lives on today.
Per the adventurer Troy's will, this wand was the key to the treasure room in which all the world's treasure sleeps. Even now, people make keys in hopes of opening it, but the room itself remains yet-undiscovered.
